Points on The Imitation Game

A layered film on a complex thematic network comprising a space from World War II to autism and from scientific invention to homosexuality...Benedict was great in a signature role with his somewhat typical genius syndrome.
Some quick thought-like questions or question-like thoughts on the film:
1. Science is not without its subject!
2. What's the ethic of action in scientific experiments and inventions? Is it about saving lives or strategies?
3. Science has its own affect.
4. How important is the sex of the first partner in a defining and formative first encounter in determining sexual preference?
5. When does your relation with your ideal ego become sexual?
6. The sentence that defines your life in one go has to come from the Other, as it were.
7. Repeat something if you want to hide it!
8. Can a machine be a substitute object for human mourning? In other words, can you make your ideal ego in the form of a machine, bringing it back from the dead?
